Utilizing locally grown plants reduces fossil fuel waste for transportation and shipping. Rainier Remedies believes in supporting PNW farms and purveyors of flowers and herbs. Wildcrafted and native plants possess special healing energetics to local peoples/animals because of their unique ability to thrive in their habitat. Utmost care is taken while harvesting to ensure the survival and thriving of native plant populations while every effort is made to cultivate and spread them in my own gardens and community while avoiding any at risk populations.

Beef tallow is a wonderful natural substance rendered from kidney leaf fat. Rainier Remedies sources fat directly from a variety of PNW ranches and process it in to liquid tallow gold in small batches so that it is always fresh. Tallow has become somewhat of a sensation in the past few years, but it is nothing new. Tallow has been used for 1,000's of years to make candles, soap and foods. Tallow is a superior skin emollient, regenerator and protector as it closely resembles the oil in human skin. Waste not the gifts we have been given!
